Grooming Tips

Get your Beauty Sleep. Starting a few nights before your session to help prevent tired eyes. Photoshop can't fix tired.

-

Hydrate. Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your session. This will help give your skin a beautiful glow. And help shed any water weight before your session.

-

No Faux! Tans that is. This includes sprays, lotions etc. I know you think you look better with a tan... but I assure you even if you don't see the streaks they camera will pick them up. Trust us to help pick pieces that flatter your current complexion and let us use the amazing lighting to do wonders for your skin tone.

-

Gently exfoliate and moisturize daily. Including body, face and lips. Don't get sunburned before your session.

-

Bring a bottle of lotion to put on after hair an makeup. This is a great way to accent your skin and gives you a beautiful glow and smooth look.

-

If you do wax, do so at least 3-5 days before your session to help avoid redness and irritation. Schedule any hair appointments at least 1-2 weeks before your session. That way if anything needs to be fixed there is adequate time to do so. Don't make any rash/drastic hair changes before your session. 9/10 times they just don't go right and we want you looking and feeling your best.

-

Treat yourself to a mani/pedi before your session . Or do it yourself. Having fresh manicured nails and toes just gives you a little lift. We capture little details. Pick a color or style that is timeless and is a solid color. French tip is a personal favorite.

-

Please arrive to your session with Clean and DRY unstyled hair, and your face moisturized and free of any makeup. If you have extensions please have them placed before you come in. We can style them for you as long as they can be exposed to heat without suffering damage.

-

Get your eyebrows waxed. Such a simple thing can help immensely in the fine details in your photographs. Do this 1-2 days before your session to have reduced redness.
